I find it hard to believe that Premier Danny Williams' choice to have heart surgery in the United States is still a story.
Especially since, if you believe the liberal-lovin' media in Canada, conservatives don't have hearts.
It's kind of funny. They were all kissing his underside when he was bashing Stephen Harper.
Anyway, despite my dismay at what I consider his self centered attitude, I wish him a speedy recovery.

Self centered? You would do the same thing I'm sure or most people would have. I hope that Williams is now back with the conservatives as he should have been all along. Too many conservatives think this party is only about supporting the 'tribe' and what it wants. (real conservative)
Why did you make the issue a partisan issue? The controversy is simple and deserving. Crossing the border to receive treatment implies that the national health-care system is flawed.
This is not a 'scandal' targeted towards the Premier per se. It's just that he is a credible spokesperson to tell us that there is something wrong with the health system if he, himself is not using it.
It's like if Wayne Gretzky decided to use one brand of hockey stick over another.
Tyler, I didn't make it a partisan issue. It was the partisans that made it an issue. As far as I'm concerned, it is his health therefore it is his business.
